Something not working, or a question the docs don’t answer? Email [email protected]. A person reads every message. It helps to say which device you’re using and, for a missing notification, roughly when it was sent.

Why aren’t my notifications arriving?

  1. In the app, open the Source and tap Send Test Notification. If the test arrives, the device is set up and the problem is with the sender: check its API key and the response it gets back.
  2. Check that notifications are allowed for Pocketbell: on iPhone and iPad in Settings → Notifications → Pocketbell, and on a Mac in System Settings → Notifications → Pocketbell.
  3. Check the Source’s devices in the app, and the device’s own list of Sources in Settings → Devices.
  4. A Focus can hold notifications back. Normal notifications also arrive silently during your quiet hours.

On a Mac, Settings is in the Pocketbell menu, or press ⌘,.

How do I get Pocketbell on a new device?

Install Pocketbell from the App Store and sign in with the same Apple Account. Your Sources, your inbox and your Pro purchase are all there.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

Pro follows your account, so it’s there on every device once you sign in. If it doesn’t show, open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases, under Plan.

How do I cancel Pocketbell Pro?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. In the app, open Settings and tap Manage Subscription, under Plan, or go to your Apple Account’s subscriptions in Settings. Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings, tap Delete Account, and confirm by signing in with Apple once more. Your Sources, devices and notifications are deleted, and Pocketbell’s access to your Apple ID is revoked. An App Store subscription is not canceled by this; cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
