Make
Any Make scenario can end with a Pocketbell notification, through the HTTP app’s Make a request module.
This uses an API Source.
Set it up
Section titled “Set it up”- In the Pocketbell app, create a Source named Make, choose API, and copy its key.
- In your scenario, add HTTP → Make a request, and fill in:
- URL:
https://api.pocketbell.dev/v1/messages - Method:
POST - Headers:
Authorizationwith the valueBearer pb_live_… - Body content type:
application/JSON - Body input method: Data structure. Add a data structure with
three text fields,
title, messageandpriority, and map values from earlier modules into them.
- URL:
- Click Run once. The notification arrives, and the module’s output shows status code 202.
How it behaves
Section titled “How it behaves”- With a data structure, Make builds the JSON, so a mapped value with quotes or line breaks arrives as written. If you write the body as a JSON string instead, a quote in a mapped value breaks the request.
prioritycan be any ofsilent, quiet, normal, importantandcritical. For the Source’s default, leave the field out of the data structure: an emptypriorityis refused.- Map
titleandmessageonly from values that are never empty: an empty one is refused too.
