Zapier
Any Zapier trigger, whether a new form entry, a payment or a calendar event, can end with a Pocketbell notification.
This uses an API Source and Webhooks by Zapier, which needs a paid Zapier plan.
Set it up
Section titled “Set it up”- In the Pocketbell app, create a Source named Zapier, choose API, and copy its key.
- In your Zap, add an action step: Webhooks by Zapier, event POST.
- Fill in:
-
URL:
https://api.pocketbell.dev/v1/messages -
Payload Type: JSON
-
Data, one row per field:
Key Value titleText, or a field from an earlier step messageText, or a field from an earlier step prioritynormal, orimportant, orcritical -
Headers:
Authorizationwith the valueBearer pb_live_…
-
- Test the step. The notification arrives, and Zapier shows Pocketbell’s
answer, with the notification’s
idandstatus.
How it behaves
Section titled “How it behaves”- Zapier builds the JSON from the rows, so a mapped field with quotes or line breaks in it arrives as written.
prioritycan be any ofsilent, quiet, normal, importantandcritical. Leave the row out for the Source’s default: an empty value is refused.- To add a link, add rows
